When you hire us as your Doulas in Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill area, you can be sure we will show up. Whenever. Wherever. However. We will be there when you need us! How can we be sure? Not only do we strongly believe in the our model of support that has a strong emphasis on teamwork, we also believe that two doulas per client are better than one! With these two key elements to our model of care, we are able to be on call 24/7 at contract signing.
24/7 Doula Support In The Triangle
Our doulas believe that the only way to completely support clients through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period is through 24/7 support. This means that as soon as our clients sign their contract, we are on call. We are on call for pregnancy related questions such as how to relive lower back pain, what to do about normal pregnancy swelling, and even what to pack in your hospital bag. We are on call for your birth, whether that is at 32 weeks or 42 weeks. If you are getting induced, or having a cesarean birth, we will be there whenever that may occur. For our postpartum clients, we are on call for breastfeeding questions, overnight support, day time support, or whatever else you need!

Some doulas only have an on call window, and if you go into labor before or after that window, they cannot guarantee they can be there. And while being on call is a challenging aspect of this job, having two doulas per clients allows us to do just that. Our clients know that the doula they meet for one of their prenatal appointments, will be the doula at the birth, whenever that happens.

We truly love what we do. Our passion is supporting our clients, and we are deeply devoted to making positive changes in maternal and child health in North Carolina. However, family obligations and other unplanned situations can always happen. Because our doulas work in teams of two, we can be sure that we can do what we love, but also have personal lives. With a reliable team of doulas for each client, we know that our clients will always be supported, even if one doula has something come up.
