Meet our Pelvic Health PT, Dr. Sarah Ecker, PT, DPT, PRPC

Sarah is a pelvic health physical therapist who specializes in the pelvic floor, perinatal care, and pain conditions. She is a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner with extensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions related to bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction, including those specifically related to fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. She cares for each individual with a compassionate, trauma-informed, inclusive-minded approach and employs only the most recent evidence-based interventions.

She is committed to educating, empowering, and advocating for birthing people to expect better while navigating fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Sex can and should be pleasurable. Diastasis Recti and Prolapse is not a life sentence to fearing movement; it is not normal to leak urine because you’ve had a baby. Furthermore, she pushes for the power of prevention through PREhab—“the perinatal journey IS a marathon…let’s train for it as such.”
