Building your baby's registry can be equal parts of fun, exciting and also confusing! We have found over the years many new parents do not know where to start and what to include, so we created this list to help! We highly suggest you do more research, but hope this list provides a good general list and ideas to start pondering as you embark on this journey.
Clothing
We recommend that you get more 0-3 month clothing than newborn, because that newborn stage goes fast! We have also seen that people who are buying clothing as a present would rather pick out what they think is cute vs what you think is cute, and those do not always match. For these reasons, we recommend that you put minimal clothing on your registry. Burts Bees Baby has tons of organic cotton outfit that are great to check out!
Car Seat
The safest carseat for your baby is the one that fits your car the best. Our Certified Car Seat Technicians can come to your home to help you assess, pick, and fit the car seat you choose.
Stroller
This also varies based on your needs. Some important questions to ask yourself:
Do you want your carseat to fit in the stroller?
How important is weight and size of the stroller to you?
Do you want your baby to be able to lay flat, face you, and/or face forward?
Where will you primarily be taking the stroller?
Does the stroller need storage?
Are you planning to have more children where you would need to add a seat and/or a standing ledge?
How important is weight of the stroller? Will it need to be carried up stairs, through airports, etc?

Products That We Do Not Recommend
Bumbos: Putting baby into unnatural sitting up positions before they are developmental ready can be hard on their bodies
Jumpers: Again, this is asking a baby to move in a way they are not developmental ready for
Products with Added Fragrance: Babies are very sensitive, and their skin is just so precious, introducing unnecessary chemicals is not recommended
Unsafe Sleep Systems: While we love get our babies sleeping, having baby sleep in swings or other products not made for sleep is unsafe
We hope this has been helpful and at least given you a starting point as you begin preparing your registry! Please reach out with any questions!
