Evidence Based Information for Start Solids
Starting solids is such an exciting milestone in your baby's life, but many parents find this time a bit nerve-wracking and confusing.
What is the safest way to prepare food?
Is my child getting enough iron?
How can I avoid creating a picky eater?
If you find yourself asking any of these questions, this class is just for you!
We will go over the key nutrients baby needs as they start their journey into solid food, the basics of different feeding methods including baby-led weaning, show how to safely prepare food and teach other critical safety tips such as the difference between gagging and choking and safe allergen introduction.
Nourishing the first 24 months has a profound impact on a child’s health and eating habits in the future, and this class will give you and your child the best foundation possible.
Open to All Members of Your Family
The two hour class will be interactive where you will be able to feel the textures and size of safely prepared food. For that reason, we recommend that you invite any friends and family members who will be preparing food for your baby to attend the class.
